Local resident Stefan Savides is one of the most renowned avian sculptors in the world, whose work has been sought out by everyone from leading museums to Cabela’s Outfitters to Prince Akishino of Japan. But it’s the Klamath Basin that proudly boasts more of Savides’s public masterpieces than anywhere else. Bird lovers and art aficionados alike will want to set their GPS to enjoy a Klamath day trip of pure beauty.

The National Interscholastic Cycling Association’s (NICA) mission is to “build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling.” In 25 states, NICA has some 9,000 volunteer coaches who work with some 19,000 student-athletes from nearly 1,000 high schools and middle schools across the county. And Klamath Falls has a team!
Camping in this beautiful region has created such memorable experiences for my family, a time which we will undoubtedly remember fondly. Our children play from sun up to sun down while the adults hang out and reconnect. It doesn’t get much better than that! While camping is something I didn’t experience while growing up in South Dakota, I am so grateful to have the chance to share these special experiences with my family and friends here in Klamath Falls.
